I own a woman's clothing and accessories store in Toledo, OH. We have 3300 sq. ft. of both new and resale items. We specialize in maternity items (the largest selection in the area) and women's size clothing (the largest selection in a resale shop in the area. RESALE ROCKS!

Shame on me!

I have not posted on this blog for almost a month - I don't have a good reason so I won't make excuses. It has always been my goal to write at least twice a week and I certainly have fallen way short.

What have I been doing? Since August 28, I have:

- had 11 One-to-One face-to-face meetings with others

- had dinner with three other couples (at Ansara's Steakhouse, of course) plus at least 5 other
dinners there with just the two of us

- worked 15 days in the store

- processed incoming items from 38 different consignors

- traveled to and from Chicago by Amtrak for a 3-day weekend to celebrate
our wedding anniversary

- set up and conducted the biggest sale ever to celebrate the store's 10th anniversary

- sponsored and exhibited at a play related to childbirth

- had 2 facial treatments by an esthetician who's a member of my BNI chapter

- attended and participated in 10 hours of BNI training for incoming leadership teams

- had a delightful lunch at the home of a customer

- attended 4 weekly BNI meetings of my own chapter

- kept a daily journal of everything I ate and drank

- went to our last Mud Hens game of the season

- volunteered as a server at a fund-raising "Rib-Off" event
- partied at friends' house

- had Sunday brunch at son's house

- celebrated Labor Day by doing absolutely nothing

- completed at least 63 online crossword puzzles (yeah, I know)

- presided at a committee meeting for an event in late October

- created an audiovisual for and attended a evening networking mixer
-finished two books
- attended a business board meeting

- attended a Master Mind meeting

- kept a dental appointment

- planned a Mystery Resale Bus Trip with my BFF

- rented a truck and picked up some new store fixtures in Birmingham, MI
- rearranged the front part of the store

and last but not least, made innumerable phone calls and sent at least 170 separate e-mails related to either the store or the aforementioned event. And, of course, I spent a little bit of quality time with my husband and talked to my Emme on the web cam at least once a week.
I'm not complaining - I absolutely love everything I did and would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
So do you forgive me?
